Cultivate was founded in 2019 by two former colleagues and long-time friends: dietitians with clinical, research, and industry backgrounds with a passion for food, nutrition, science, and all the ways they intersect.
We are a boutique agency specializing in nutrition science strategy and content development and delivery. Our mission is to distill nutrition science into clear, actionable content that gets results. We use your collected science, conduct literature reviews, and/or advise on a research strategy to help you develop and craft your science story. Once developed, we create marketing, sales and training materials, abstracts, white papers, and presentations to convey your story in a way that connects with your audience.
Our team includes experienced speakers who have developed and taught university courses, presented at national sales meetings, national conferences and teleconferences, and international webinars and podcasts.
Where the Passion Begins
RACHEL ADAMS, PHD, RDN
Rachel completed her PhD in Nutrition at Texas Woman's University where her research focused on digestive health and online health communication. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a MS in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University. Rachel's interest in the food and nutrition began early while growing up on a family farm in Texas, where she still lives with her husband and family. She began her career in clinical dietetics and spent the last 15 years in corporate medical affairs, clinical sciences, nutrition communication, marketing, and public relations working with multinational food companies and communication agencies. Rachel also has a certificate of training from Monash University on the low FODMAP diet.
Her education and experience come together to form a unique philosophy that agriculture, industry, academia, government and consumer groups can work together to create a more nutritious and sustainable world.
SARAH STASKIEWICZ, RDN
Sarah is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with expertise in pediatric and neonatal nutrition. She holds Bachelors of Science degrees in both Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from the University of Dayton, and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Maryland. Sarah brings clinical expertise from highly-ranked children’s hospitals, and diverse industry experience within a global food and nutrition company. Her unique perspective on food, nutrition, and medicine comes from her combined experience at academic medical centers and in medical affairs, marketing, nutrition science, and nutrition communications. Sarah is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding and is currently pursuing a Functional Nutrition certificate through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
